As long as there's not a lot of traffic I'm cool with anything. I'll ride anything pretty much anywhere, even the bland metric cruisers. I've never done a trackday, but if I could get my hands on the track time, a bike that was worth it and a little upgrade in gear I'd wear it out.

Though smaller, the handling of my cousin's Sportster Custom felt very similar to me. I just don't like the overall vagueness of a cruiser, though I'm sure I could get used to it with more saddle time.

I spent a day aboard a Virago 1100 a few years ago, and it handled the best of the three. It felt much faster than the Harley or Honda, too.

that's the deal for me... it's not a knock on the people that ride them... they're just not for me...

And there is even a big difference between HD's of yesteryear and more recently in the past 4-5 years.

Why do you even bother? You are outnumbered here, its like you are a field mouse in a box full of hungry snakes and you keep trying to talk your way out of being eaten. You lost this argument, you just didn't realize it yet.

HD is an inferior bike, just learn to deal with it, and that small penis of yours too.

Hey just because my penis is small doesn't have anything to do with my bike being inferior. It's actually a superior bike to make up for my lacking in the pant region. GET IT RIGHT!

My cousin's Sportster was a first-year rubber mounted model. I don't think they've changed much since then.

I've always heard praise for cruisers' low-speed stability because of their very low centers of gravity. I can putt along at 0.5 mph aboard my Triumph or Suzuki and feel stable; anything below 5 mph on a cruiser and the front end is wobbling all over the place.

Tell you what, though: aboard the VTX on Saturday, every other motorcyclist I passed waved at me. That never happens when I'm on one of my bikes. Damn arrogant sportbike hooligans!
