Net and it fluctuates, I did 17 installs this week at $100 each plus I also get commission on extras and gas money. Of course I had to put in about 70 hours to get it...

Agreed.........Mustangs of that era had horrible stick shifts. Long travel, long ratio gears.......Plus engine pulses that could be felt through the shifter constantly......

As far as styling, yours is a lot better than the 95-98, which had no logic to their lines at all.

That car's widest point was above the door handle, making it look top-heavy and awkward.

The cleanest looking Mustang ever made were the late 80's models

I really like the 2010 Mustang. Gear shifting is pretty sweet not to mention the car looks good.

I got my kid an '87 Mustang 5.0.

2K, it was cheap, and no one had hacked it up.

Needed a water pump. Takes 15 minutes to do a Chevy, so I bit.

I've got over two days in it so far. Everything that could possibly be a clusterfuck has been, including two stuck, sheared bolts (corroded from their mixing steel and aluminum), resulting in a cracked timing cover (made of hopelessly thin cast aluminum).

Every single bolt in the front cover assy. must be in before you tighten a single bolt [no dowel for location], the water pump is caught up in all this mess, and needs all of its bolts in at once to line up also. Front accessory drive? Large bracket on driver's side needs - you guessed it; all bolts in before you snug ANY, or it's a clusterfuck.

Ford. Now I remember.

An automatic makes it even more douchey... but if you like it, that is what is important. I hope you don't have the trouble that others have had.

Man, I replaced the exhaust, pulley in place of the smog pump, cleaned the combustion chambers and rebuilt the carb...all in one day on my 85' GT. I wish I could help ya with the pump. Throw it on a trailer and bring it to me, we will fix it, and throw a 5 lug conversion on it to boot.
