I have the Taurus 24/7 pro 9mm and really like it although the trigger does have a lot of play. I have gotten used to it. It is too large however for me to carry so I keep it as a home defense gun. I also have a Kahr cw9 that I really like. It is a single stack so it is much thinner and easier to conceal. It kicks harder than the Taurus but is manageable and accurate. Might want to take a look at the Kahr as well.

They make purses that look like they have a flap on the front. Its the concealment pouch.

I have a concealment purse from Coronado. There are tons available. Mine has a concealment pouch with a zipper entry. There is also velcro available on some models. I prefer the zipper because it has a built in lock.
