I think I need to back up all my stuff now. Seems like everyone is getting hit with computer/virus problems...this is like the 6-7th person.

I had a WD HDD that I pulled from my PC when I upgraded. It worked fine when pulled. I bust it out a couple weeks ago and the damn thing just makes the clunk noise of death, hence my thread I made about it. I have it in the freezer right now.

I'm still getting a drive 0 diskette failure, no clue what to do now, this is after I formatted the HD and reinstalled windows

If there's a 3.5" floppy in the unit, unplug it, and remove it from the BIOS.

You still use floppies?

nope, I havnt seen a floppy since the 90s. I went into the bios and disabled the floppy drive that its looking for, I also tried enabling it but making it the last thing to boot from, neither worked.


wait, wait, wait. Dont know what I did but it seems to have worked, for now

And now I cant get any drivers to work....

Everything online has links to download them, but I need the drivers for the network card before I can connect
