hey hey, i laugh at my sis when she has to help her lil one's clammer into their seats, where as the mini-van has a much mower step up so it was much easier for the kids to get into. only thing the volvo had over our mini van was initial price.

We bought a used one with 80 grand...

2004 for 21000... vs new $44,095

I'm not a big fan of buying new cars, not worth the depreciation...

well i wasn't gonna get into resale, but yeah Honda > volvo on resale too!

and resale on the odyssey is outstanding.

Volvo's aren't big in Texas but they are here. My dad will buy a used Volvo instead of a return ticket when he goes down to work in Houston. They are rust free down South and people buy used ones here NP.

People hold onto Volvo's here and drive them for a long, long time...
