Got my sister one of these Breville, this thing is a beast, motor is 900 watts and sounds like a jet engine spooling up. You can dump a whole apple down that chute without slicing it.

beer mainly, i drink rum rarely, but thats about it for hard liquor.

We got two food processors as wedding gifts and returned one and sold the other on eBay. We just use the blender when needed, otherwise we slice/chop/dice/mince/whatever by knife. I like having control over granularity, etc for each ingredient.

That's an awesome gift!!!! OSP and I totally want the Ninja (which is basically the same thing...I don't know the difference between the two).

Everytime there's a commercial on, we always talk about how awesome it would be to get one. We saw one at Walmart for a pretty cheap price, but it wasn't at the top of our priority list. I might have to get one now...It sounds TASTY!!
