I'm thinking about swapping out headers (thus getting updated O2 placement as well as better heat control) and then getting the new spark and map. Should be up to par.
hurry up and do so... so I can see how much the mpg is increased!

honestly... I've been looking at the 1125r since it came out... but all the problems I've been reading about... I just want them to be sorted out... I talked to the military dealership here... I can put one on order and pick it up as late as October next year... and if I like the 2010's better... I can switch to them... $300 down... and I'm locked into the lowest price from now till then... right now it's MSRP... but mine includes tax and title. delivered to where I want. still not sure if I'm gonna do it... the bike's more than I need right now... and I need more seat time... but if I can put it off till Oct... I don't make any payments till then...

just gotta see if it's worth it... see what the stateside dealerships offer them at.

who knows... i may get back and sit on my bike and realize I need another couple years... but doesn't hurt to weigh my options

More seat time? How long have you been riding, ebbs? I wouldn't buy anything smaller brand new, as soon as you get comfortable with the bike you're going to want to go bigger.

actual seat time... not much... 6k miles... but that's over two years... before and after deployments.

actually will probably double my mileage on my trip.

that's why, if the program will save me a decent amount, I'll order it and take delivery in Aug.

oh forgot... one big reason... is I promised I'd give my bike to my bro for his senior year in college... as an early grad present.

Air-cooled pushrod engine... mad retard easy. Liquid cooled Rotax... I'm takin' it to the KTM/Aprilia/Bimota/etc dealer.

Easy as hell. Very little maintanence required. No valve adjustment. It's easy to work on. Harley dealers don't give a fuck about Buells and most of them suck anyway...and charge a billion dollars an hour.
