I already do bring my own food. I work in bumfuck.

I am not really trying to lose weight. More like just doing run conditioning.

Throw some hard sprints into your training if you haven't. Aside from distance running, sprint 20 yds, walk back and repeat x 10 or so. Pretend you're running from tater's whore of an ex-wife or something....
