I have only heard about it about a week ago. I still haven't even looked at the site. For now I don't even want to look at it, I'm not sure why.

I've got a facebook account that I rarely look at. right now I coulnd't even tell you what my signin name is there. I've got a cell phone and with messaging on the forums I'm on everyone that I want to contact me has a way to contact me.

Okay, correct me if I'm misunderstanding this... So the idea behind twitter is that people can send random inane messages to the cell phones of everyone they know? And people sign up for this on purpose?

Text messages cost me 20 cents apiece... there is no friggin' WAY i'd want any part of that happy crappy!
