Specs are underwhelming. The Xoom just looks like a better way to go. It can actually do some more stuff, iOS needs a big update so it can add more flexibility and options.

Me either, I can't figure out the use for it. I don't use laptops, why would I need a much more restrictive tablet.

Thinking about a tablet because I have to ride the train a lot, and the fucker is almost always standing room only.

No way in hell I'd pay $700-800 though, especially if it's just 3G :lame

phone would be easier to use and not require a case. 4" ones would be perfect for this. Same capabilities.

Why would you use a comp on a train anyway? I never understood that. Its like the people at work who are always surfing the web on their phones. Theres a time and a place. At work, on a commuter train, and while driving is not included in those times or places. I never understood the need to be constantly connected.

What else are you going to do during a 45-min train ride? Reading a magazine is the only other thing I can think of. Sure I could do that, but only because I'm one of the few people who actually gets magazines in the mail anymore.

I would guess at least 80% of train-riders here are heads down, surfing their phone, tablet, or reader.

Cuz driving would cost 3 times as much, when you take into account gas, bridge toll, and parking.

Also you can get shit done on the train, unlike when you're driving.
