I don't care if you are holding the child, pass it off to the nearest person who works in the medical field (they are used to the nasty stuff). I knew not to look but thats after 30 or so deliveries so I have gotten enough of that nastiness on me. karens OB doc was teasing me durring her delivery too asking if I wanted to see the baby being born. I told her I was just fine at the head of the bed

I like the old school method of staying out of the fucking delivery room, pacing and chain smoking while all of that shit's going on... ONSSP, unfortunately, does not hold that same view... Head of the bed for me...
