Charlie Boorman and Ewan McGregor (yeah Obie Won) rode from London To New York... going East... 20k miles...

then rode from Charles O'Groats (tip of Scotland) to Cape Agular... in South Africa.

another good one is Race to Dakar... where Charlie Boorman rides in the Dakar Rally

I am going to get my GS soon, if you think '11 will be the date you get one. We need to plan a cross country ride for a week or so in '11

Na, you can do it in about an hour with only a few tools on the 1125. No remval of the swingarm.

Heres a link to badweb where a memeber shows how it's done with minimal tools.

I'm thinking more along the lines of this for a more comfy ride.
