Ask people about their tattoos... Look closely... Then go visit shops... Look for cleanliness first... ask to see their autoclave (touch it to see if it's warm... ie. they use it)... then look for quality... Be leary of portfolios... Tattoos don't start looking like shit (usually) until after they heal... Most portfolios contain only fresh tattoo pictures...
