We have GPS based on hundreds of satellites that can place you within feet and a mile an hour of speed, instant communications bounced off thousands of satellites, people living in orbit for months at a time, private enterprise routinely making microgravity flights and preparing to launch a space hotel, cars that navigate using lasers and radar and sonar, aircraft that fly at 2x the speed of sound, and a few that fly at mach 3+, and remote craft that can do mach 10+, and others that can splatter an enemy with no human onboard. How is it remotely possible that we haven't put people on our closest celestial neighbor? I could put something into orbit from my backyard if I had the right books and enough time/money.

I hope you know that I'm kidding about the our going to the moon being a hoax. There's a mountain of evidence supporting the idea that we went and zero hard evidence that we didn't. What really blows my mind is the fact that a decent percentage of people that believe we didn't go are religious...

If there was even 50% the amount of evidence for the existence of God as there is for the moon landing, everyone would be christian!
