Just an update.

Got the first issue yesterday and it was really exciting to see not one but two articles of mine in the magazine. Definitely a real thrill for me as this is my first ever published article.

Only bad part? They spelled my last name wrong.

Oh well....still excited!

That sucks, but get used to it. The guys I work with STILL get mine wrong, after something like 5 years

Ya, I was annoyed but not much I can do about it now. Maybe it'll be my writer's name.
