I don't believe for a second that the gubmint could figure out anything useful to do with billions (trillions?) of dollars if we focused more on our own domestic problems, but it sure would be nice to see them try.

I can't believe nobody has commented on the 911 recording yet. If that's the kind of information/idiocy 911 operators need to deal with on a regular basis, they have much more patience than I.
