Picked up a Garmin 1350 LMT tonight. I will start testing it out tomorrow. See how it works out.

Day 1 with the unit has been good. It lasted the 12 hour work day. I turned it on just for the stops I needed it for and a few I knew just to get used to it.

I'm waiting for the unit to tell me off for not going where it tells me to go. I take it as a suggestion and go where I want. Plus it doesn't realize I'm driving a large truck. It recalculates the routes really fast. Its also fast then my Blackberry Bold to enter in street names and get it ready to roll. In the time it takes the phone to find the satellites I have the street entered, found and I'm driving.

Screen size is good. It must be 4ft away from my face and I can see things perfect.

The window suction cup is good so far. I was worried about the vibration of the truck but so far so good.

To make things better my car icon is now Smokey, a Fire Truck.
