Adjusting headlight

What is the appropriate hight for my headlight beam. I know with a car your supposed to do the following

* drive the car up right in front of a wall and mark exactly where the center of the beam is on the wall
* then back away from the wall 25 feet then the center or the brightest part of the beam should be 2-3 inches lower on a wall and slightly inside of the marks.

what is the propper proceedure on a bike.
