Yeah I was lucky to get in w/ a group of INCREDIBLY experienced riders right off the bat that showed me the ropes & got me on the right track, both figuratively & literally

That's part of the reason why I try to take new riders under my wing... like CEO9867234986398734 :P For some straaaaaange reason, I remember his first track day almost as vividly as he does

Ohhh yeah, maybe THIS is why I remember it....

Sorry Chris... had to throw ya under the bus

Seriously though, I was pretty impressed w/ Chris' riding, ESPECIALLY for his amount of experience. That was his first track day & I'm pretty sure he put a knee down (besides in that crash, hehe)

To be fair to him, here's another picture from that same day... again, very new rider, only riding for a couple months & it was his first track day. He did very well.

Welcome Pete

Good to see another fast guy over here with some racing knowledge. Listen to this guy, twfixers... he knows his shit. And he helped me quite a bit my first few track days before I bumped out of his group. I still ping off him for help in the garages.

That wreck was actually my second track day... my first track day was about 3 weeks prior, I did pretty well and yes, dragged knee. Then I came back for the two day and crashed midday on the first of the two days. Stiff arms and cold tires = byebye front! Crazy to think how far I've come since then
