That's the last of the pics. If you want anything else from me, let me know. The guy only lives a mile or two away.

I don't think the current owner has really ridden it. He's a new rider, and a big fella. He says the bike is uncomfortable and he doesn't want it any more. He didn't sound too certain about whether or not he was going to get something different. I still have 1/2" or so strips on my bike. The roads out here don't really favor getting rid of them. On a Shinko, that's another story. I'd figure you could get rid of the strips pretty easily on one of those flat bastards.

Yea I might keep that bike on hold. But Thank you for taking the time to check it out for me!

Drewp and I are still looking at every forum. We did find on in VA that might be promising. It's an 05 w/ 2,500 miles, stock, with very light damage from falling in a garage. Their asking 4k. They had all the pics of the scratches and such.

The SV1000 might be a better buy, but it's going to cost more. I can do the same thing with it, if you want, go take some pics.

Too bad you weren't shopping when I sold mine. I still think I could have held out for more money. Mine was perfect, and faster than Trip's.

Mine wasn't perfect when I sold it, some douchebag at Wendy's knocked it over while I was inside eating and took off on me. I sold it for what I wanted for it though and I didn't give them all my accessories.

I just sold an 08 naked SV650 for $4800. It had about 2500 miles on it and I'll just say that I BARELY lost money on it. Considering that I enjoyed it and got 60 mpg while driving it.....well........

I think you should look around more. I loved the SV and got an AWESOME deal on it new. (being the vice president for a large credit union helps me get good deals with dealers that we do lots of lending for)

Just sayin'

It's under the grab bar and too far back. the helmet hooks are farther forward than that.

All the luggage and stuff is a bonus (if you plan on doing riding like drewp) but still a bit high.

And I love the copper SV's

You're probably right. It does look like some kind of rub mark though, not a drop.

Probably a rub from the luggage. My bike has that shit.
