The 50% water is actually a benefit... a mixture of 50% water and 50% coolant has a lower freezing temperature than 100% coolant.

Oh yeah for sure... Cyclelogic Engine Ice is the best shit out IMHO

Ebbs... if you read your owners manual... it always says distilled only. It has to do with corrosion and shit and the alum system.
