Honestly... I really like my brothers Visio... hate my sharp (it's got a bluray player built in... yeah I know... the volume cuts out when you switch sources and then will randomly come back on)

I worked at a store recently and we sold them. I wouldn't show them unless someone asked about them. I had people ask me what I thought about it. I wasn't allowed to really talk bad about any of the products so I would just say its our lowest priced tv. We had two on display that were the same tv and same size. One have a really bad picture and the other had a picture that was even worse. One had colors that were so jacked up that they didn't show parts of the image in some scenes.

Everyone has a different but I only had one customer that came in and said they were really happy with the picture. I thought the Insignia (Best Buy/Future Shop) tv had a better picture.

I can't buy a tv with a picture I don't love anymore. The tv I want to replace in my bedroom is a 11-13 year old GE that I bought for about $369. I just bought it to hold me over till I got the house. After living in the house for a bit (About a 1.5 years) I bought a Sony 46W4100 46" rear projection and the GE went to the bedroom. The GE has an ok picture and that has bugged me for the whole time I have owned it. The Sony which I owned for 6 years now I love. I paid double what I was looking to spend when I went out that day but I have been happy with that tv everyday I watched it for the last 6 years. I hope it last a few more too.

So because of that I will not buy another tv till I can afford something that I love. That tv right now happens to be the Panasonic 42" G25 for my bedroom.

I'm hoping the Sony will last in the living room till after I buy a new house (which will be a while) and I want to replace that with a front projector on a 12'+ screen. So I need to get my ass in gear and start making some money. LOL.

I like my LG LED, It's like a 55LH90 or 90LH55, can't remember. It was on closeout, so I got a decent deal. It's nice.

Don't forget to check your cosco or sams club. They have good prices allot of the times as well.

The cap fix didnt work, I had a friend of a friend look at it and he said that the power supply motherboard had melted in 2 places, and replacing the actual board was the only fix. I found one on ebay but decided to box the old TV for a while and bought a panasonic Viera 42" LCD, it came highly recommended from soemone who is a home theater nut and buys new tvs all the time.

I've got a 42" Panasonic Viera plasma. I love it. I have a 32" LG LCD in the bedroom. Both look great. Well...the Panasonic looks great and the LG looks good.

I have an Insignia in the bedroom - not bad at all for the price.
