I love how proud people get over the cold frosty hell they live in. I'll sit back and adore the fact that school was 2-hours late yesterday because there was ice on the road. Ice, because it was 31 the night before and raining. Ice, that was gone when the sun came up.

cm... I wish the US would stop being so damn proud and go with the metric system. It makes so much more sense....

My friend Kris used to get a day off from work in 'Bama when there was a little freezing rain; the same sort of weather that she used to ride to work in, up here. She didn't ENJOY it, but she DID it

It's no big deal. There are always old fucks like me around to tell the young'uns that there are 5280 feet in a mile and that water freezes at 32F

id love to see you in a t-shirt riding pillion with me this morning tough girl
I wouldn't be riding on the back there Sunshine

I used to ride into November, but then I got a car once I graduated university.

The boyz at the shop used to laugh and say I was more of a man/biker than the rest of them b/c I rode to work in sleet and the odd light snow fall.

A bruise or hematoma on the surface doesn't indicate your brain is okay.

If anything it highlights the need to look further with diagnostic procedures b/c a force great enough to cause surface damage was transmitted throughout your head.

Brain injury can occur with or without superficial bruising....

And on that note, I hope you feel better soon James... I'm gonna spend my morning shoveling wet freak'n snow and then head to work in the ER at 1600. There will be a lot of broken bits and pieces in my area.

Oh, any by the way... Do you do private snow plowing? I'm going to have a harder job the more preggers I get with this damm white crap
Thanks I'll live. I just woke up. Plowed all night. I don't do any private plowing right now. I don't have any of my own snow removal equipment. I'm working on it.
