no sono

they did end up giving her 2 1/4 bags of saline

the did pitocin, but shots
also gave her some kinda pill

i told her she needs to tell "her floor" they need to give her light loads or she's not gonna be there, cuz she'll be home on bedrest.

she was supposed to work today, but obviously not.

hmm thats different, our guys usualy inject the pitocin into a liter bag of saline. maybe they gave her a shot of magnesium sulfate too.

I wouldnt sweat 32 weeks too much though they usualy do fine that early, just will spend some time in the nicu. Obvioulsy the longer the better so the lungs can finish cooking.

So long as it gets where it has to go is all that matters. Plus our OB service here is sketchy at best, we have a few good residents but some in the past were flat out scary.

well, the nurses treated us good, and knew what they were doing

but the hosp clientel is pretty ghetto. i was not pleased w/ her choice of places to have the baby, the reason she chose the hosp. is long, but suffice to say i don't like the place, or mostly clientel.

strange cuz next door tothe hosp is a high $ neighborhood.

I assume their ob service is good. You would be surprised what you find in some ghetto areas as far as staff. If you want to do stuff like Er or internal medicine and see good stuff. training where I did, and working here I have seen stuff I woul dnever se in some cush suburb.

All in all it makes you a stronger clinician as well being able to function in an environment with a less than stellar support staff.

Some of our services are top rate yet others I wouldnt let take care of my pets.
