I've been guilty of causing the kill switch thing with friends... I always hit the kill switch out of habit... I've had several people freak out 'cuz their bikes won't start after I've ridden said machine.

One time riding in the mountains (By myself at that) I somehow hit the kill switch on the way down. I was on a mile length downhill and didn't notice for a bit. I hit the throttle and nothing. I didn't know WTF was going on. I slow down to about 25mph (Was at 80mph before) and then saw I hit the kill.

I got a buddy one time who was staring at a hot chick off to his left. I was on his right and hit his kill switch then took off knowing he'd chase after me. But he figured it out quickly since he did it to me before.

I also came close to kicking my buddy and myself off the road. We were on a 4lane road and we started to pretend kick each other. I ended up swerving over and kicked his bike and he kicked mine since I came so close. We both about went into the weeds with an audience of cars behind us.

Then this happend to a buddy (Sort of buddy) of mine. I was just out riding around and came upon a big motorcycle charity ride (Cops let people do wheelies and were running 100mph with a police escort) where I knew some friends where at. I saw them at a gas station so I pull in and do a small wheelie coming in.

My buddy weighs about 400lbs and is 5'5" and rode my old SecaII. He sucked at riding but thought he was the master plus a complete moron. But great entertainment if you weren't around him. Another guy on the ride was on a Harley and had his pretty decent looking old lady on the back. She gave a thumbs up to me for the wheelie. Genius not wanting to be outdone tried to do a burnout (400lbs planted on the seat) and kept stalling it. His 4th stall it jumped and he fell over. I almost fell over laughing.

Gotta say motorcycle riders are some major idiots (Me included). But it funner than hell though!!!

Or you could do one better than quick grab the key and drop it on the pavement.

Oh yeah...thought of another "moment".

Pulled into the gas station...rolled up to the pumps that sit on a raised island...on my Kawasaki ZX-11 that still had the stock 4-into-2 header.

Well this was in my squidly days...wearing shorts...put the stand down and stepped off the bike. Well when it leaned left onto the stand it pinned my leg between the hot pipe and the "raised island" that the pump sits on.

Only did that once.

I hate that! One time I was in front of the "hangout" with my Morini, and kicked my ass off (it's kick-start only) I forgot that my hubby took it for a short spin and used the kill switch....
