You most certainly fail.

Success for me is working to my potential and growing. I am a success for now... If I have not moved up within the next year, it will be a failure. I do not have especially clearly defined goals (which is a particular weakness of mine), but I know that I want more... The problem is, I am not sure that I will ever be satisfied.

Honestly... I only have two goals... 1 be a good husband... 2 be a good father...

but as I'm not married... nor have any kids... and a good ways away from either... I'm content in my life... I'm not hurting for money... I've got good friends... (a few I met here) and don't really have a true need in the world.

so as far as I'm concerned... I'm as successfull as I can be at the moment

Gonna be pretty hard to do that since they've banned gay marriage about everywhere and no matter how hard to rub two sticks together, you can't make a baby...

Pretty much hit the nail on the head for me.. except I'll add that I want to provide those experiences for my kids, too.. I want to give them the world.

To me, success is living the life I want to live. Living with purpose is successful to me. The actual things I've ticked off on my "to do" list aren't as important as being positive and living a purposeful life.

If I had a job I enjoyed making money that pays the bills and leaves leftovers for other stuff, and a girl who I love and loves me too, I'd consider my life a success.

Success is a fun thing to define.

I was asked the question by my ex-husband's girlfriend... "So, you see success as money?"

No... not specifically. But, having a comfortable lifestyle does make it easier to pursue happiness and hobbies. It gives you more freedom if you don't let it consume you.

I strive to raise successful children. What that means, I am raising them to have good family and friends. To have good moral character and be able to care for their things (and other's). To make good choices and help those around them when need be.

All that asside, I don't want them to want for anything. They should know how to manage money and investments. How to earn enough money to pay the bills and save for their future. I don't want them to make enough to not worry about money without it consuming their every move.

Is success money? No, not entirely...
