Default I solved both my problems...

One of the local shops here had the TechSpec tank grips...cut for a ZX6R. But they worked out great on my bike. Plus they were $10 cheaper than getting sheets of grip AND it came with an extra piece for the center of the tank that I was able to cut to fit my rear seat cowl.



Hubby and I got lazy today and did not end up riding so I will be trying them out either tomorrow or next weekend.

Thanks to those that helped in my other thread. It worked out that the TechSpec pattern is pretty similar to my seat texture. And even though it does not look like it from the picture, they actually blend in really well.

I just love FZRs, Kick myself for not buying one when i had the chance. I got scared away by the odd tire sizes...
